My Poem
Deep water, he can’t stand in.
Yellow is one of his favourite colours.
Lollipops are his favourite treat.
Apples are good for him.
Nice things make him happy.

The first line hooked me right away! and the next 2 lines made me think of lemon gumdrops…those are MY favorites. I’d love to see a poem exploring line 1 more.

This poem reminds me of my oldest son, his favourite colour has always been yellow and still is, even though he is now 26 years old!
