John Leonard says: "It takes a long time to grow an old friend." I guess that friendships can be like plants. They take alot of care and constant attention and sometimes when friends disappoint us, we can still continue the friendship because like plants, sometimes we need to get rid of the parts that stop us from growing and focus on the parts that make them strong.
